Parenting Project Schedule

Attached is the Parenting Project's October/November 2012 schedule of community-based parent education programs. The Parenting Project offers a series of programs for parents and families. The following programs are being offered:

* Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) - for parents with children ages~2-11 with difficult~ or~challenging behaviors.

* BabyCare - for parents of infants birth to 6 months of age

* Nurturing Parents & Families - for parents of children ages 6 months to 5 years

* ABC's of Parenting - for parents of children ages 5 to 10 years

* ParenTeen Solutions - for parents and youth ages 11-17 years~ (youth and parents attend together)

* Teen Triple P- for parents of teenagers 11-17 years~ (parents/caregivers only)

* Blended Families

Parenting classes in Laughlin - 

* Nurturing Parents & Families - for parents of children ages 6 months to 5 years

* Teen Triple P- for parents of teenagers 11-17 years

Programs are available to parents free of charge. Registration is available for Parenting Project programs Monday through Friday from 8:00 am -4:30 pm. To register, call 455-5295. If you have questions regarding the programs or need additional information please contact me. Thanks!

Bailey Middle School is pleased to present the BAILEY COMMUNITY NEST! It will service those who are in need of food. It is in the Bailey Portables at the rear of the school.

The Nest will operate under a first come, first serve basis.

Hours of operation are: Thursday's 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM 

Be a part of the Bailey MS ALEKS Math Club!
ALEKS (Assessment and LEarning in Knowledge Spaces) is a self-paced, web-based math program that is being used all over the world to help students with math in elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, colleges and home school settings. ALEKS provides students with an individualized and standards based system for mathematics instruction and support for grades three through twelve.

Bailey MS families have the opportunity to purchase ALEKS subscriptions at the school price ($45.00) instead of the retail price ($179.95)! With your subscriptions, you will have a precise and on-going report on the exact standards your child is working on. This tool is a perfect on-line individual "tutoring" system that will prepare your child for advanced topics and will efficiently find the gaps in their math learning.
